Hunting License Pricing and Tag Acquisition in Montana

Securing a hunting license and tag through Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks involves understanding the various pricing and application processes. Resident and non-resident licenses differ in cost, with non-residents typically paying higher fees. The prices vary based on the type of game and specific hunt. To secure a tag, hunters must apply during designated application periods, often participating in a lottery system for highly sought-after tags. Detailed information on pricing and the application process can be found on the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks website. Ensure to apply early and meet all requirements for a successful hunting season.
